The Extreme Networks 5420M-48W-4YE is a high-density PoE++ access switch designed for campus, public-sector, and enterprise networks that require reliable power delivery and multi-gig uplinks. With 48× 802.3bt (90W) ports, 4× SFP28 25Gb uplinks, and SFP-DD high-speed stacking, this platform delivers excellent scalability and operational simplicity.

Universal hardware with dual-persona support allows the switch to run either ExtremeXOS (EXOS) or Extreme Fabric Engine (EFE), enabling flexibility across different network architectures.
