The ExtremeSwitching 5420M-24W-4YE is a universal-hardware,
next-generation access switch designed for high-density PoE++ deployments,
advanced campus networks, and public-sector modernization projects.
Its 24× 10/100/1000BASE-T ports support full 802.3bt
PoE++ (90W), enabling high-power Wi-Fi 6/6E access points, cameras,
security systems, and IoT environments.
This model includes 4× 1/10/25Gb SFP28 uplinks, dual
SFP-DD stacking ports, MACsec encrypted link security, and
Extreme’s dual-persona OS flexibility—allowing operation under
either ExtremeXOS (EXOS) or Switch Engine (VOSS).
